Gov. Dennis Daugaard and the South Dakota Department of Tourism honored Rush Mountain Adventure Park, Home of Rushmore Cave, for exemplary customer service at the recent Governor’s Conference on Tourism.  The George S. Mickelson Great Service Award was presented to Rush Mountain Adventure Park for exceeding visitors’ expectations in customer service. The Rush Mountain crew was in full force at this year's Governor's Tourism Conference in Pierre as it unveiled the new Rushmore Mountain Coaster project and also it's new brand, Rush Mountain Adventure Park. The group also was a major sponsor of this year's conference. "People are really excited about having something new for families in the Black Hills." said South Dakota Secretary of Tourism, Jim Hagen.
