Gov. Dennis Daugaard and the South Dakota Department of Tourism honored Rush Mountain Adventure Park, Home of Rushmore Cave, for exemplary customer service at the recent Governor’s Conference on Tourism. The George S. Mickelson Great Service Award was presented to Rush Mountain Adventure Park for exceeding visitors’ expectations in customer service. It marks the culmination of a yearly hospitality program that involves hospitality training, customer comment cards, and an employee recognition program. “We are always striving to provide our guests with a memorable experience while at Rush Mountain and a big part of that is providing great customer service,” said Tom Hagen, General Manager.
