Rushmore Cave

Journey into an unseen world and discover stalactite-filled caverns, cave formations, and the amazing Big Room at Rushmore Cave. Learn from our knowledgeable guides about the history and geology that formed the world renowned Black Hills cave systems.

Cave Tour Info

• Tours every 15-20 min. during summer

• No reservations required

• Tour times assigned on a first-come first-served basis

• Bring light jacket and sturdy shoes

• Need ability to navigate lots of stairs and uneven ground

• Bags/Purses/Backpacks not recommended inside cave- please leave in vehicle

Rushmore Mountain Coaster

Race along a 3,800 foot track, through the forest, and down the mountain in individual coaster cars on the Rushmore Mountain Coaster. Riders can travel alone or in pairs and have complete control of their speed (up to 30 mph) for a truly unique, hands-on experience.

• 1 or 2 people can ride together – max. of 375 lbs.

• At least 54” tall to ride alone

• At least 54″ tall & 16 years old to carry a passenger

• At least 38” tall and 3 years old to ride as passenger

• Front passenger must be no taller than driver

Soaring Eagle Zipride

Soar through the air like an eagle on this unique zipline attraction. This family-friendly attraction lets you experience the sensation of flying, while accelerating 630 feet down the mountainside on a suspended cable.

Gunslinger 7-D Interactive Ride

Experience this amazing multi-sensory immersive experience. Feel the seat move, the wind in your hair as you take one of 2 different adventurous journeys. Shoot your laser gun at targets along the way. It’s a blast!! We can’t wait for you to try it.

Gemstone Mining

Your family will love sifting through dirt and sand at the Gemstone Mining area, searching for different gems, fossils, arrowheads & minerals in a real sluice box.

Wingwalker Challenge Course

Agility, balance, bravery, conquering a fear of heights — to be an airplane wing walker requires all these skills and more! The Wingwalker Challenge Course is your training ground! This above ground obstacle course will get you ready to be the next daredevil!

• Must be 48″ tall to go alone on Wingwalker Course

• Must be 42″ or more to go with adult chaperone

• Must be under 300 lbs to go on Wingwalker

Sky Tykes Challenge Course

Sky Tykes Challenge Course has the same fun obstacles for the littlest adventure seekers, complete with it’s own zipline!

Adventure Tour

This is a true caving adventure that requires belly crawling through some tight spaces. Our experienced guides will lead you through some areas off of the main tour route that almost no one else sees. This extreme adventure is not for the faint of heart and is not recommended for the claustrophobic.
